The Art of the Olympians Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the Art of the Olympians College of Life Foundation Golf Classic from December 2-4, 2012 at the prestigious Colony Golf & Country Club, a Jerry Pate designed championship golf course, in Bonita Springs, Florida.
This is a historic time for both the Olympics and the world of golf. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, golf will become an official Olympic Sport for the first time in Olympic history- a movement that will revolutionize the sport of golf around the world. As we build up to the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London, we are preparing to bring together, for the first time, the legends of the Olympic Games and legends of the PGA in a special tournament to launch this historic journey. Together they set the stage for the future of golf as a new Olympic sport. After the Olympic flag and torch is passed from London to Rio at the Closing Ceremonies this summer, the journey begins.
We invite you to be a part of this historic journey by joining these iconic Olympians, PGA golfers, celebrities, business professionals, and politicians in this premiere philanthropic event. Celebrate the blending of these sports arenas and enrich the lives of youth by sustaining Art of the Olympians programs of art, sport and culture through the 2016 Olympic Games and beyond. This Premiere event provides immediate exposure and relationship building opportunities for our supporters and participants while also creating long-term benefits by enhancing the lives of young people. The exclusive tournament event is slated to include only 29 foursomes, plus our Olympic and Golf pros.
The Golf Classic includes a VIP Golf Experience, auction and pairing party at the Colony Golf and Country Club on Monday, December 3; and the golf tournament on Tuesday, December 4. Event donors have an exclusive opportunity for a VIP cocktail experience on Monday evening with celebrity guests.
