Allison’s first national championship was at the age of 12. She broke the world record at 16. It was one of the longest-held world records for women’s swimming. Allison then went on to win a Silver Medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In addition to painting, Allison also does Japanese-style calligraphy and scrolls and photography. She has a B.A. in contemplative psychology and is currently studying as a medical intuitive.
