Known to the world simply as Flo-Jo, Florence Griffith-Joyner was one of the great female athletes of all time. After winning a Silver in Los Angeles in 1984, she went on to win three Golds and a Silver Medal in Seoul. She holds the world records in the 100 & 200 meter races. In addition to her abstract painting, Flo-Jo also wrote poetry and stories, designed jewelry and even designed the uniforms for the Indiana Pacers. She died in her sleep in 1998.
