Larry Young, USA
Race Walk/Sculpture

The only American ever to medal in Long-Distance Walking, Larry won the Bronze in 1968 and 1972. He has been a full time artist for the last 25 years and has placed over 50 monumental outdoor sculptures nationally and abroad. Larry has his own foundry, where he can cast bronzes up to 17 feet in height. “The origin of mankind, man’s relationship with other life forms and his destination have been important elements in many of my works.”
