Besides representing Fiji in track & field at the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976, Tony competed in two series of South Pacific Games and one Commonwealth Games. For many years he held the Fiji, South Pacific and SP Games long jump records and broke many other Fiji, South Pacific and Australian state records along the way. After a long airline career, Tony now works in medical administration. As part of a spiritual awakening in the early 1990’s he started putting pen to paper. To date, he has written in excess of forty poems. “My work reflects a strong spiritual element and touches on subjects such as love, healing, addictions, forgiveness, friendship and the human condition.”
Tony now lives in Sydney NSW with his wife Rhonda and their three sons Nathan, Anthony and Jordan. In October 2009, he was inducted into the Fiji Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to writing poetry, as a volunteer Tony is very involved in sports administration.
