Future Home of the Art of the Olympians Center

Art of The Olympians moved into its new home at 1300 Hendry St. Fort Myers, Fl 33901. Located in the heart of the recently restored Downtown River District, the Art of the Olympians Museum and the Al Oerter Center of Excellence are the perfect start or finish to a day in downtown Fort Myers.

Admission

Fee includes same-day admission to the Cultural Experience and Sports Experience Galleries
Adults - $2.00
Members (Join Now) - Free
Children under 12 (accompanied by an adult) - Free

Hours

Tuesday – Saturday:  10 a.m. - 4p.m. 
Sunday - Monday: Closed
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day

Please note that galleries are cleared five minutes before closing

DIRECTIONS

From I-75

Exit #138 onto FL8s/Martin Luther King Blvd., heading west for approximately 4 miles.  Turn right onto Hendry Street.  Hendry Street ends at Art of the Olympians building.

From US 41/N. Cleveland Avenue

Turn onto Martin Luther King Blvd (east side of Caloosahatchee Bridge on Fort Myers side of bay.) Turn left at Hendry Street. Hendry Street ends at Art of the Olympians building.

Parking*

On-street, surface lots, meters and timed parking zones are monitored Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Metered Parking

$.25/hour at 10-hour meters
$.50/hour at 2-hour meters

Zip Zones

Zip in, zip out park FREE in the Zip Zone for a total of 2 hours per day anywhere in the entire Zip Zone.

Harborside Lot

Pay-by-Space machines $.50/hour

Centennial Park

Vehicles can park up to 2 hours per day FREE under the US 41 Caloosahatchee Bridge

*All parking fees are subject to change.

Bicycle Racks

Bicycle racks are provided outside the facility.  Bicycles are parked at the owner’s risk; the Museum accepts no responsibility for vandalism or theft.
